It’s one thing to ask your kids, but it’s another thing to show your kids. Follow these tips for helping your kids organize their rooms.

Narrow down their clothing choices

No child is going to be able to organize their rooms when they have a dresser and closet overflowing with clothing. You can help your kids organize their rooms but helping them narrow down their clothing choices. Stick to a certain number of shirts, pants, and shorts.

Provide ample organization tools

Something to keep in mind that it’s easier to organize when you have the right tools. Give your kids enough space to organize their belongings. Help them to see that everything belongs in a spot. You can help your kids organize their room by doing something this simple!

Work alongside your children

It’s the truth that our kids learn the most from us. Sit down with your child and show them how to organize their room. Allow your kids to experience what it’s like to organize from an adult’s point of view. Sometimes, kids just don’t understand what we mean by organize. It’s important to just go ahead and show them.

Remember perfection is not key
